What the buyer needed
A precision machined metal money clip with personalised engraving — a small, high-finish consumer part where surface quality and engraving legibility are the whole product. The buyer had been shopping on price and openly expected to be disappointed.
How we made it
Small machined parts with engraving are unforgiving: the face has to be clean enough that the engraving reads sharply, and the clip needs enough spring to hold without cracking. The route runs from laser cut blanks through CNC machining to a deburr and finish stage, with the engraving applied as a controlled machining or marking operation rather than an afterthought.
The listing price of US$0.02–0.05 per piece is the band shown on our Alibaba.com listing for this product at the relevant order volumes — it is the reason the buyer said the quote looked “very competitive”.

Why this matters
The buyer states the objection in his own words: “It usually means the quality isn’t good.” Low quotes from new suppliers carry a reputation cost, and it is earned. What makes this review useful is that it was written by someone who started out sceptical and had to revise his expectation on receipt of the goods.
