SendCutSend and Beijing JCEN overlap on the same processes and almost nothing else. Both cut sheet metal, bend it, insert hardware and finish it. But SendCutSend is built as a self-serve online shop that can deliver in 24 hours, and Beijing JCEN is built as a production plant that builds tooling, stamps and deep draws at volume. If you are choosing between them, you are really choosing between a fast transactional shop and a manufacturing partner.
Every SendCutSend figure below is taken from its public website. Every Beijing JCEN figure comes from our own published capability pages. Where a figure is not published, we say so instead of estimating it.

SendCutSend Overview

SendCutSend describes itself as delivering sheet metal fabrication, CNC machining and more in as little as 24 hours, and its whole buying flow is self-serve: you upload a file or start from a template in its web app and place the order directly. Its service list includes laser cutting, waterjet and CNC routing for sheet materials, multiaxis CNC machining from billet, CNC bending stated as within 1 degree of accuracy or better, countersinking for flush hardware, dimple forming up to 3 in, hardware insertion, tapping and tumbling to remove handling marks. Its homepage states 175+ materials in stock, and it publishes example laser cut sheet metal pricing so you can see how size, material, quantity and design density move the price. Its material library covers both metals and non-metals such as acrylic, ACM and ABS.
Beijing JCEN Overview
Beijing JCEN is a factory-direct metal parts manufacturer. We are headquartered in Beijing with our plant in Nanpi County, Hebei, and we have been in production since 1998. The plant covers 15,000 m2 and runs 6 production lines with 85 people. Laser cutting, press-brake bending, stamping, deep drawing, welding, CNC machining and surface finishing are in-house, and so is our tool room. We hold ISO 9001:2015 (registration 34025Q30296R0S), IATF 16949 and ISO 14001. Published working tolerances are plus or minus 0.1 mm for forming and plus or minus 0.005 mm for machining, sheet thickness starts at 0.5 mm, samples ship in 7 days, quotes include a line-by-line DFM review and return within 24 hours, and production runs 20 to 30 working days. There is no minimum order quantity.

Where Beijing JCEN Has a Clear Advantage
- Volume production with tooling. SendCutSend is a cut-and-bend service: every part is produced from a file, one at a time. That scales linearly. A progressive die does not. For a part that will be ordered in the tens of thousands, the tooling route changes the unit economics completely, and that is the route we are built for.
- Deep drawing and heavy forming. A drawn shell, a stretch formed pan or a deep enclosure is not a flat part with bends. These need dedicated tooling and press capacity, which we hold in-house on 25 to 400 t presses.
- An engineer reads the drawing before the die is cut. The self-serve model is exactly right for a laser cut bracket. It is not the right place to catch a strip layout problem or a flange that will tear on the second hit. Our DFM review returns with the quote, in 24 hours, before you spend on tooling.
- IATF 16949 and documented process control for automotive programmes. We hold IATF 16949 alongside ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001, and we publish our tolerances, lead times and material range rather than keeping them behind a quote form.
Where SendCutSend Has a Clear Advantage
- Speed, by a very long way. 24-hour delivery against our 7-day sample and 20-to-30-working-day production is not a rounding difference. If a bracket is blocking a build, they win outright.
- You never have to talk to anyone. Price appears, you order, parts arrive. For small teams and one-off fixtures, removing the quote conversation is a real saving in time and attention, and our process deliberately does not work that way.
- Transparent published pricing and a domestic supply base. Example prices are public, the material library is very broad including plastics, and production is domestic. That means no import paperwork, no freight forwarder, no duty and no customs delay.
- Non-metal sheet materials. Acrylic, ACM and ABS are on their list. We cut and form metals only. If your design mixes plastic panels with metal brackets, they can supply both from one order.
Which One Is Right for You?
Choose a self-serve service such as SendCutSend if
- You need parts in days, not weeks, and the design is already frozen.
- Your parts are flat or bent sheet, or simple machined parts, in the tens to low hundreds.
- You want price visible instantly without a quote conversation.
- You need non-metal sheet materials, or you want to avoid import and freight handling entirely.
Choose a factory-direct manufacturer such as Beijing JCEN if
- The part will be repeated at volume, where a die and a pressing line beat cutting every part from a file.
- You need deep drawn, stretch formed or progressive-die stamped geometry, not just flat parts with bends.
- You want a human DFM review before tooling spend, and a named engineer on the programme.
- You need IATF 16949 scope, published tolerances and a partner who quotes the tooling as well as the part.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Beijing JCEN a good alternative to SendCutSend for high-volume production?
For volume, yes, because the production model is different in kind rather than in degree. SendCutSend produces each part from a file, so cost follows quantity linearly. A progressive die is a one-time investment that then lowers the unit price across the run. Break-even depends on the part, the material and the annual volume, which is why we quote the tool and the part together instead of quoting the part alone.
Can Beijing JCEN give me instant pricing like an online shop?
No. We quote within 24 hours with a DFM review attached. Instant pricing and reviewed pricing are different products: one is produced by software from a file, the other by a manufacturing engineer from a drawing. If you need a number in seconds, an online self-serve service is the correct tool.
Does Beijing JCEN cut plastics and other non-metals?
No. We work in metals only: cold and hot rolled steel, stainless 304 and 316, aluminium 5052 and 6061, copper and brass, with titanium Grade 2 and Grade 5 and Inconel 625 machined in-house. If your assembly needs acrylic, ACM or ABS panels, that part of the order belongs with a supplier who stocks them.
What about freight, duty and lead time when buying from China?
Budget for both a production window and a transport window. Our production is 20 to 30 working days after drawing approval, then air freight is typically 3 to 7 days and sea freight 15 to 30 days, plus customs clearance and any applicable duty in your country. For a repeated production programme that timeline is planned into the schedule. For a part needed this week it is the wrong route, and we would rather say that plainly.
